A good prosthetic fit is crucial for comfort and mobility, but measuring the exact anatomical shape of a residual limb is still challenging. A group of THU students investigated 3D reconstruction of residual limbs using freehand ultrasound and a liner with integrated fiducial markers, all without external tracking. Interested?
