The militarisation of every day language is now being used in reverse by the military to convince you (ie: convince kids) that you are already part-military, and really why don't you just join at this point, right?

This is just the continuation of decade long efforts to recruit kids through sport and video games and now the gamer subculture, cf. "America's Army™ (Die Jugend Marschiert)" from #Propagandhi's crucial 2005 album, Potemkin City Limits.
