International Pronouns Day

Let’s work together to help create a more inviting world where everyone, including trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people, feels comfortable…

HRC

International Pronouns Day happens each year on the third Wednesday of October. International Pronouns Day raises awareness of respecting, sharing, and educating about pronouns.

You can find our pronoun resource here: http://transactual.org.uk/pronouns/ We created it to go in email signatures to explain why people choose to share their pronouns in emails.

Today is #PronounsDay! 🌈

Sharing your pronouns isn’t just about you – it’s about creating a world where everyone feels seen and respected. A small act can make a big difference for your queer siblings. Let’s normalise asking for and sharing pronouns – just like we do with names 😉

What are yours?

Just learned it's International Pronouns Day! My pronouns are They/Them.

Learning pronouns is a lot like learning someone's name. It's polite and respectful to use the one they want you to use rather than what's "official" or legal. And it's weird and often rude to default to the wrong one if you have trouble with it at first - again just like learning a name that might be unfamiliar to you. Practice makes a huge difference.

(feliz #PronounsDay lol)
