The onions joke is so lame that's precisely the one thing making it so great. But the best part is how Bushido and Raiya meet and start what will be (i hope) a great friendship).
The story tself is dark, and serious and sad. And good. I can't stop thinking this is a very old school episode. In the good sense.
Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity time!
Gavan Infinity has that special flavour. Part police, part superhero. More superhero than police, i would say. The shw is good, entertaining dynamic...
And if yu know a bit about Metal Heroes... there''s details making yous mile.
You don't know about them' Do not worry! Just enjoy the adventure ;)
The lack of a Monster of the Week isn't something i miss.
I mean. Is Gavan Infinity, NOT Super Sentai. And even in Kamen Rider there's plenty of recent examples with several weeks in a row without that monstruous figure.
The only franchise ican think still keeping the Monster of the Week is Ultraman.

The kind of heavy on action episode i learned to love! With the right amount of history at the right moments. There's some shots being particularly spectacular.. and the villainess is defeated in a way that's even hilarious.
There's only one "but". Is a bit hard to get a sense of scale when they use the mecha inside the evil space fortress.
