Sicherlich habe ich z. B. kryptographisch kein ausreichendes technisches Knowhow. Mit Technologiefolgen, Demokratie und Gesellschaft beschäftige ich mich hingegen schon länger.
Ich sehe große Unterschiede zu den #USA und den restlichen nicht-authoritären Staaten.
Zugriffe auf #Meta-Konten sind dort eher die Regel. #Meta (vorm. #Facebook) sind dort schon für viele Behörden eher häufig. Zudem sollte es seit dem #ProjectAnalyticaSummit eigentlich...

#Zuckerberg is known for (too) "freely" colaborating with state agencies, for one thing, for another, there was the #CambridgeAnalytica scandal which led to the (IMO) insane #ProjectAnalyticaSummit. Even after passing the dark-red light of the scandal, not much had changed:

It is widely known, IMO, that #Meta is even selling customer data as part of its business model.
This is probably the only thing I agree with with #TFG!
#Facebook is, indeed, an "enemy of the people": of #democracy, which it destroys not last by fomenting hate and selling voter data, and of its users, whose data it harvests.

It is, as we all know, a network effect.
However, the more warrants and seizures or leak of #Meta data (#ProjectAnalyticaSummit) become public knowledge, the more I see the willingness to switch.
Also, many people in many countries are afraid of right-wing government takeovers. This, in combination with "#ChatControl discussions in the #EU, in particular #France, will provide possibilities.
