If #AI were to be used extensively to program machines, then it is nonsensical to generate #programmes expressed in human-readable high-level languages. AI #programmers do not need such coddling. They can generate binary code for the target CPU, via assembly.

Indeed, AI could even generate custom FPGA or ASIC hardware, expressed in an HDL.

If those non-technical #IT managers wish to push the boundaries of AI use, they might as well go whole hog.
