You see these big influencers taking the effort mentioning how they used AI/LLM to see if they were on the right track and how they each other refer to how it makes them a better person using a tool that makes them superhumans over other people who don' t use such tools in their work - a product placement if one will.

Or simply the fact that people might use those tools but don't make much noise about using the tools that make them superior to others - zero sum game if you will.

It's worthwhile to ask who funds them and what the motivation is to explicitly mention these tools every time they do something.

Having a bit of a throwback to the turn of the 21st century and am listening to DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist's Product Placement mix, and listened to their previous mix Brainfreeze before that. Oh I listened to these so much back in the day. I also had the Product Placement Breaks bootleg as well, I'll have to try and find that again at some point.

Over 2hrs still to go, watching Apple’s much-hyped F1 movie and I’m like, nope.

I’m not gonna watch a movie so full of product/brand placements, it’s nonstop ads—from co’s largely responsible for global warming (hi, Aramco!). Screw this celebration of fossil fuel.
