This is it, the final showdown in our #IonFury playthrough. This was a fun romp, it's crazy now to see the explosion of GZDoom games that have come out in recent years, and to know that even the company #3DRealms themselves were able to make something fun and nostalgic as this.

Looks like the upcoming #Terminator game finally has a #Steam page to wishlist it!
𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝐃: 𝐍𝐨 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞 (looking better than the last 3475 Terminator movies we've had) has such a nice old #gaming feel to it, literally looking at home on a #SEGA Genesis.
It reminds me of games like #IonFury or #Selaco (my fav!), or #Prodeus in that it is made 𝘯𝘰𝘸 to look like it was made 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯.

I've started something totally different this evening; #Prodeus. It's a (ahem) Boomer-Shooter.
Don't usually go for these games but I've spent the last 90 minutes or so having an absolute blast on the thing.
To the point where I wonder if I might have discovered a new genre I can obsess over.

Pues si no hubiera existido Quake y la tecnología hubiese evolucionado sin tanta mandanga 3d, #Prodeus sería el auténtico Doom 3.
No entiendo cómo un escenario tan pixelado puede generar tanto agobio. Supongo que la música ayuda. Y más todavía encontrarte con un rastro de cadáveres cuando tú no tienes aún un arma con la que defenderte.
Dobra, #Prodeus - kilka osób mówiło mi, że fajne i żebym sobie kiedyś zagrał, ale tu trzeba dosadnie: rzućcie wszystko, co właśnie robicie, i idźcie grać w Prodeusa. Przynajmniej jeśli wychowaliście się na klasycznych Doomach.
Bo to właśnie mógłby być prawdziwy Doom 3. Z jednej strony mamy nowoczesne systemy dynamicznego oświetlenia i efektów cząsteczkowych, z drugiej: dwuwymiarowe sprite'y zombie marines, demonów i innych maszkar z piekła rodem, które od razu przywołują na myśl potwory z gier id Software. Wszystkie przerobimy na piękną, rozpikselowaną kupę krwi i mięcha dzięki zróżnicowanemu asortymentowi broni. Widać, że twórcy przyłożyli się do ich projektowania i każda zapewnia czystą radość rozwałki, czy to klasyczny shotgun, czy wyrzutnia rakiet, czy też pistolety maszynowe. Ponadto każda broń ma 2 tryby strzelania, a niektóre nawet po kilka dodatkowych wariantów.
Prodeus może pochwalić się wspaniałymi projektami poziomów (tak, jak lubię najbardziej: dużo nieprzesadnie wielkich plansz najeżonych sekretami), do tego wygląda i brzmi znakomicie, ale przede wszystkim zapewnia zmiksowaną dawkę frajdy i adrenaliny w dokładnie takich proporcjach, jak klasyczne Doomy. Do tego dochodzi ogromne wsparcie społeczności: nawet na konsolach dostajemy edytor poziomów ze wszystkimi możliwościami, do jakich mieli dostęp twórcy gry, dzięki czemu gracze zapewniają stały dopływ nowych kampanii. Jak nietrudno było się spodziewać, są już próby odwzorowania oryginalnego Dooma czy Quake'a. Mamy też tryby multiplayer, więc o nudę nie musimy się martwić.
Krótko mówiąc: gorąco polecam. W moim rankingu to ścisła topka boomer shooterów ostatnich lat, a wbijanie platyny było czystą przyjemnością.
