The proceedings of the BPM 2024 workshops are now out! And with them, our BPO paper "Applying #ProcessMining on Scientific Workflows: A Case Study on #HighPerformanceComputing Data". A process-centric view of HPC execution logs, enabled by case reconstruction techniques. With Zahra Sadeghibogar, Alessandro Berti and Wil van der Aalst.

New paper in Knowledge-Based Systems: in "Control-flow #AnomalyDetection by process mining-based feature extraction and dimensionality reduction" we combine #MachineLearning and #ProcessMining to detect anomalies in logs.

Work led by Francesco Vitale, and with Wil van der Aalst and Nicola Mazzocca. Fruit of the alliance between Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and RWTH Aachen University.

Unclogging the information arteries of the NHS

If you live in the UK, the following will be all too familiar. Your phone pings and you see an SMS confirming the date of your NHS GP appointment. Then a letter arrives saying it has been postponed. A lengthy wait on hold ensues as you try to talk to someone to find out which is correct – the text or the letter.
