Why are #Republicans desperately trying to distance themselves from the Alabama IVF ban brought about by the decades of their #ProRape #ForcedBreeding policies and corruption of #SCOTUS ?
Because an IVF ban overwhelmingly hurts rich white women, a large portion who make up their racist base.

Americans soundly rejected the #Republican #ProRape, #ForcedBreeding laws, but in many cases still reelected the #GOP lawmakers that rammed through those those laws (in some cases in secret) to let them ram through the same laws all over again.
#Repuiblicans just elected a #ProRape, #ForcedBirth, anti #BirthControl, anti #LGBTQ, #ClimateChange denier that supported the #January6th terrorist attack and attempted to overthrow American democracy, as Speaker.
Can't say I'm surprised.
When I suggested that #Republican #ProRape, #ForcedBirth policies would result in:
Maternity wards closing.
Women being smuggled out of state for medical care.
Women dying from unviable pregnancies.
Women being jailed until they deliver.
Women delivering in shackles.
No penalties for rapists and pedophiles.
They said I was hysterical.
It's all happening in #Republican states.
