I know a lot of fedi users don't use Instagram, so I'm sharing his linktree which also has info on how to appeal health insurance denials. I also think his work (videos of actually phone calls) will make anyone understand we need change. It's not just a one-off of someone being denied care, it's many. Seen occasionally, it's easy to ignore, seeing denials that effect people and cause death.... en masse, well it becomes hard to ignore.
- has how to appeal denials resources, and some of his vids talk about things you should know about getting care approved. Stuff my therapist partner educates his clients on. It sucks, but you really have to know how to trigger care and advocate and follow up.

Ours is over $22,000 of debt, because our hospital doesn't want to admit there is a duplicate charge, and continues to refuse to send the substantiating claim paperwork to the insurance company to prove if it's as valid as they claim it is.
So because they refuse to either prove it's a valid charge or admit it is not, they will keep it on our credit report until we can afford to hire a lawyer. No one else will help us at this point. We're out of options. No matter what, their mistake is going to cost us a LOT of money, and all they have to do is keep ignoring us.
Do what you have to in order to keep your #NationalizedHealthCare , so you don’t end up like us.

A $1.7-million lawsuit filed by the former head of Alberta Health Services alleges a government “kickback” scheme involving inflated contracts with private surgical companies, a witch hunt to shut down critics of the Smith government and threats to wind up any internal investigation of the practices.
NYC CEO SHOOTER CAUGHT
26yo Luigi Nicholas Mangione was arrested today in Altoona, Pennsylvania on firearms charges. He was found carrying a gun with a silencer, similar to the weapon used in the #UnitedHealthCareCEOkilling.
An alert #McDonalds employee thought the customer looked like the #NYC shooting suspect & called police. After detaining him, police found the weapon & fake IDs (including one fake NJ ID used at the NYC Hostel), and some items of clothing matching the shooting suspects'. Additionally, he had a handwritten document which "speaks to both his motivation and mindset" for the shooting, and he has "some ill will toward corporate America."
The McDonald's employee who turned him in will be eligible for the combined $60K reward ($50K+$10K).
I bet that employee doesn't realize it, but he probably needs to save that money to pay his future medical bills. #PrivatizedHealthCare
