📚✨ Spotlight on Comic Books at #ULiège Library!⤵️

The comic book collection of the ULiège #Library includes several thousand titles, covering a wide range of genres.

To explore this collection more intuitively, through broad thematic groupings, thematic galleries are now available.

At work, we're moving from Primo BO to Primo VE and I've been working to make sure we don't lose any configuration we care about in the move. I like some of the new details, dislike losing certain options, and really appreciate that configuration now has menus, tabs, and checkboxes instead of never-ending listing of field-value pairs. #systemslibrarian #primove

#Primo Next #Discovery Experience User Interface

"As part of our Next #Discovery Experience (#NDE) vision for the coming years, one of the main focuses is the new User Experience and interface. In 2023, we announced that we have started the work on a new #UX for #PrimoVE Discovery as part of the NDE vision and framework."

📢 Happy to share that #CORE Recommender, a plugin for repositories, journal systems and web interfaces to suggest similar articles, has been added to our Mosa #PrimoVE view. 😀

➡️ Mosa is a platform that aims to highlight #OpenAccess #research produced by scholars from Belgian and Luxembourgish institutions.

💡 Option to sort results in #Primo Collection by newest acquisitions

👉 We would like to be able to sort results in a Collection in #PrimoVE by newest #acquisitions at the top. So perhaps sorting by date created of the record in #alma. This way we could make #collections that display the newest purchases in our library at the top.

Managing Collections - more options for searching and display

In the Collection Resource Editor (Alma) - it would be really useful to have greater flexibility for searching within a collection. Can we have the option to search by MMS Id and keyword? At the moment only Title and Publisher are available. This would be really useful when you don't know the specific title/publisher you are looking for - so you want to do a keyword search within the collection to browse. Also if you know the specific MMD id that would be useful too.
