I'm a middle-aged, middle-class, middle-income, middle-of-the-road, cis, straight, white, English guy. I'm about as straight as they come. And yesterday I joined a very large and very colourful crowd at Pride Edinburgh, to support my LGBTQIA+ friends and family members.
I should have been going for years: It is completely, utterly, wonderful.
