Help with considerations on MoCA vs Powerline EthernetI'd like to get my Wii and Wii U working with the internet but it appears that my WiFi signal to my basement is just bad enough that, while the network is detected, it typically doesn't connect.
I have a free Coax cable right behind the TV I use for the Wii/Wii U.
Should I use MoCA or Powerline Ethernet, or another solution entirely? What would I need to get? Can I use one of these solutions to also strengthen the Wireless connection in this basement?
I also need to have some way to either use WEP security or bypass it using Ethernet in order for classic Wii functionality to work. If I do Ethernet, I know there's a product that will allow me to hook that into the console and it'll work.
My ISP is Xfinity and I have one of their modern XFi modems (and no other relevant routers)
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Feel free to ask additional questions for more details if needed.
