Let me put it on the record that I've never particularly liked #PrestonManning. Even so, it's disappointing to learn he's assembling a political movement that will flirt with separatism.
Canadians ought to stay loyal – especially at the present moment — and reject the destructive idea of regional separation.
And suppose this warning were accompanied by a threat: that if voters were to make such a choice, he and others of like mind would seek to break up the country. #CanPoli

If you actually needed another reminder that #PrestonManning is bereft of any sense of decency then his threat of western separation if his preferred candidate loses should help.

Trust Preston fucking Manning to make Pierre fucking Poilievre look sensible by comparison.
#PrestonManning was the son of #AlbertaPremier# ErnestManning, a #ChristianNationalist who shaped Alberta the way it is today.
Not to be outdone, Preston led an "anti Quebec" movement called the #ReformParty to kill any chance of reconciliation with the Quebecois and ended up killing moderate conservatism in #Canada as well. His reward was the more extreme #Tory absorbing Reform and banishing him.
