ðŽó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ Network Rail and #Transport for #Wales are preparing for a major timetable increase on the North Wales Coast line from 17 May, with train services rising by around 50%. The changes are part of the wider Network North Wales programme and aim to improve capacity, connectivity and access to jobs, education and leisure across the region.
Residents in Prestatyn and Pensarn are being invited to drop-in sessions on 19 and 20 May to learn more about planned works linked to the increased services. The events will allow people to view proposals, speak with project teams and ask questions.
The expanded timetable has also led to safety concerns at several level crossings, including sites in #Pensarn and #Prestatyn. Network Rail has begun preparatory work for new accessible footbridges and introduced temporary safety measures ahead of the timetable changes.
