For some reason this was the only song that came to mind for the word. It's not one of my favourite songs on the album ("Don't Sing" or "Cue Fanfare"), and I'm not sure why Paddy McAloon is trying a 5-beat count-in when he puts in an extra rest so it's really six beats, but whatever. Prefab Sprout was really pretentious around this time, from the interviews I've seen (or at least McAloon was), and the lyrics are often extremely laboured, but it was a starting point for them, I guess.

@musenhain Gerade zufällig gelesen: #ThomasDolby war nicht nur viele Jahre Produzent von #PrefabSprout (eine meiner Lieblingsbands!), sondern spielte auch das #Synthesizer-Intro sowie weitere Sequenzen bei ihrem wundervollen Song "Appetite" (1985).

Today's random #Discogs choice Prefab Sprout and From Langley Park Today's Memphis 1988. What a lovely, lovely pop album. Chock full of beautiful songs. There's a lot I would pick as a favourite, but as ever, The Golden Calf wins. A Remember That a very close second.
