1. #AntiChristian bias. There are #Christian churches all over this nation. But you can't create a #Theocracy without making laws that will give certain Christians extra rights.
2. #Guns #2Amendment. There just are enough ways in the US to get our hands on guns to slaughter children.
I won't definitively pin this stupidity on the anti-science conservatives in the US. But I will say, our conservatives aren't exactly smart and will believe anything Dear Leader and his Theocratic Posse tells them to believe.

Obviously, this behavior will continue and likely get much worse in the very near future.
It must be weird to be part of the "ruling class" within the majority political party that has and will allow politicians to avoid criminal charges when the very same politicians prosecute educators and people speaking the truth.
