It helped me muster courage to get out of my practice zones and out on the road. The photo was taken on a Sunday morning ~9AM.

Still, today's ride was scary for me. Mainly the start and end of this road.

The fact that I'm tooting this now means that I survived my morning. 🙏

After months of not riding my #bike, I finally got some practice again! #PracticeRide

Thanks to a new #bikebuddy and her hubby who kindly took me around campus! Yup. I wasn't just practicing at a vacant lot going in circles. I was out on the road! 😱

Forgot to turn on my #Strava app. Only recorded the way back. So I actually did about double of what the app shows.

And I didn't take any videos. Fussing with my crappy cam setup was the last thing on my mind. 🤪

I'm at my #bike practice site and here's the sky -- clear and sunny enough.

Full disclosure: If I turn and take a photo of the opposite side of where I'm at it's actually overcast over there. You know what overcast looks like. Not taking a #picture of that. 🤪

I kinda like* overcast, actually.

Main thing is: No rain. 🤓 And yes, I do love* rain. But not when I want to ride my bike. 😉
