So, I tend to use #cinnamon sticks rather than ground cinnamon (and when I use ground cinnamon, I stick to well-known organic brands). Apparently, there could be *some* lead in cinnamon sticks from soil contamination, but the lead found in ground cinnamon seems to have been added by the manufacturers to make it weigh more. Wow...!

More Ground Cinnamon Products Added to FDA Public Health Alert Due to Presence of Elevated Levels of Lead

The FDA is updating the alert below with additional products, DEVI-brand and BaiLiFeng-brand ground cinnamon, that contain elevated levels of lead.
