Viana do Castelo
Between the river, the sea, and the sky.

Here, the mirror of the water reflects the serenity of a city that manages to be both ancient and timeless.
The cobblestone streets whisper the secrets of sailors and craftsmen, while the flowered balconies preserve the charm of the Minho.
Mount Santa Luzia watches from above, with a heart full of faith and Atlantic breeze.
To walk through Viana is to travel through time — where every façade, every arch, every light reflects a piece of the Portuguese soul.
It’s the fado of the wind in the narrow streets, the scent of the sea mingling with the voices on the terraces.
Viana is not just a place to visit — it’s something you feel, you live, and it stays within you, like the reflection on the Lima River on a clear blue day. 💙

If it was 1989, then this would have been my arrival point to Vial Viçosa ❤️. However, Ramal de Vila Viçosa is a #closed railway line which connected the stations of Estremoz and Vila Viçosa, in Portugal. It was opened in 1905, and closed in 1990.
