As we (humans) get to grips with how to scale up #hydrogen as an energy source (and for energy storage) and as part replacement for #fossilfuels, this new research (once again) shows that #microbes have beaten us to it and evolved their own solutions for energy - in this case using hydrogen power.

This new research in Nature Microbiology explores how hydrogen in seawater supports growth of multiple and diverse #bacterial species.

A couple of nights ago just prior to sunset, nature treated #Melburnians to a show of #cloud formation that stretched over #PortPhillipBay!

These shots were taken along the #Esplinade #StKilda #melbourne.

The bay was also illuminated as the setting sun hit the water, to the west.

The clouds appeared to be a shimmering mix of silvers, greys and white.

Pic 4 shows a palm with what appears a radiating aura about it… a cool cloud formation 🤍🤍

#nature never ceases to amaze.
