In the early 90s I went on holiday to Tunisia and stayed in Port El Kantaoui. There was a small gift shop under our apartment and I asked the guy who worked there (Kareem) if he could knock on our door when he opened up (we had no alarm clock!).

I ended up working in the shop for 2 weeks while we were there (my partner at the time loved to sunbathe, I'm not so keen!)

I often wonder how Kareem is doing 30+ years later.
