Within days of Trumpenreich shadow chancellor Stephen Miller's ominous Fox News appearance, during which he openly declared the government's intention to criminalize political opposition to Trumpism, the regime began laying the (quasi) legal groundwork to turn Miller's threats into a reality. First Trump signed an unhinged executive order declaring "antifa" a domestic terrorist organization; despite having no power to do that, and antifa being a term for antifascist protestors, not an organization.

"Yesterday, Trump signed an executive order designating antifa — the decentralized movement against fascism — a domestic terrorist organization, although the U.S. does not have a federal domestic terrorism law.

“[Antifa] uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide to accomplish these goals,” the order states. “This campaign involves coordinated efforts to obstruct enforcement of Federal laws through armed standoffs with law enforcement, organized riots, violent assaults on Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other law enforcement officers, and routine doxing of and other threats against political figures and activists.”

As the article notes, the Trump regime went out of their way to hold up anti-ICE protestors, and folks who publicly identify masked Gestapo goons, or even "political figures and activists" (on the right, of course) as part of Trump's made up "antifa" organization - which may go a long way towards explain why, months later, ICE and CBP goons were prepared to treat half the city of Minneapolis like a terrorist threat. Of course Trump was widely mocked in the media because this executive order is legally meaningless, but as we'll discover later on in this thread it doesn't really matter if Trump is just making up new powers for himself out of thin air, so long as the rest of his fascist government is prepared to pretend and act as if his word is the law. Regardless, Trump had just defined working to oppose the Trumpenreich's ethnic cleansing operation as terrorism, in writing.

Of course, the Swine Emperor's outrageous executive order only hinted at how broadly the label of "antifa," and thus terrorist, would be applied against his political enemies. The domestic terrorism memo Trump signed soon afterwards, would however make it abundantly clear that he means the more than half of the country that didn't vote for him, and doesn't want him to be America's Hitler.

Being anti-American, might just mean opposing US imperial violence. Do you think billionaires should pay a wealth tax to support the communities they pillage? That may sound like anti-capitalism to our fascist police state, who can say? Furthermore Trump pretty much said the quiet part out loud anyway when he noted that people who are "generally hostile" towards MAGA nazis, "may be" considered antifa too. "Be nice to us or we'll put you in Gitmo!"

Look, I just want to be clear - this is the fucking President of the United States, declaring in writing, that more or less 60% of the country either is a terrorist, or could be considered one if it suits the Trump regime's purposes. And as we'd learn in the months that followed, grandpa Dealz didn't just forget to take his meds that week - these were and are statements of intent for the Trumpenreich itself.

Frankly, it doesn't make a lot of sense for me to spend a ton of time analyzing stories from last September, but I think it's still important for us to note how immediate, obvious, and direct the connection was between Charlie Kirk's assassination, Trump's increased efforts to consolidate dictatorial power, and the larger American fascist movement's propaganda to justify those measures. Donald Trump’s Most Authoritarian Week Yet

"It was clear Donald Trump and his allies would ramp up their crackdown against any and all opposition in the wake of the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk — and this week, the president’s second administration unleashed its most authoritarian blitz yet.

The Trump administration got late-night host Jimmy Kimmel’s show taken off the air by threatening companies’ broadcast licenses if they continued to run his show. Trump and his team threatened to strip the tax-exempt status of liberal nonprofit groups, while the president called for left-wing activists to be jailed for protesting him at dinner. Trump announced he’ll once again try to designate “antifa” — America’s disparate anti-fascist movement — as a terrorist group, with no legitimate basis, clarifying once again where he stands on the whole fascism question.

Meanwhile, the administration worked toward its goal to deport a legal U.S. resident for speaking out against Israel’s relentless assault on Palestine. Reports trickled out that Trump would fire a U.S. attorney for failing to bring charges against one of his enemies, before Trump publicly called for his departure and he quit.

This ugly, authoritarian week didn’t happen in a vacuum. Trump just last month mused about how Americans want a “dictator,” and the administration now appears to be using Kirk’s shocking murder as an excuse to escalate Trump’s ongoing campaign for total power."

With all due respect to Perez, Ramirez, and Suebsaeng, who are all fine journalists, this is hardly Woodward and Bernstein hooking up with Deep Throat to expose Nixon's Watergate conspiracy here. The entire fascist American right, including the Trump administration itself, spent the first week after Kirk's death openly arguing that Trump was now allowed to do fascist dictator shit because "the left" (read: some individual person disgusted by Kirk's hatemongering) killed Charlie - and then testing the limits of how far that presumed power to transform America actually goes. At one point Trump was literally threatening to pull media broadcasts licenses for outlets that criticized him "too much," while implying that NPR (a government-supported public broadcaster) might be working with the very same "antifa" he just said he wanted to declare a terrorist organization.

I'm not going to summarize the rest of the article here, but if you actual do read it you'll see that in each and every power grab, or authoritarian exercise of state power to force compliance with fascist ideological goals, Trump regime officials directly linked the justification for doing so to the idea that "the left" was a domestic and even national security threat because Charlie Kirk caught a bullet and expired. This wasn't a mystery you had to solve, this was the Trump regime's openly articulated intention. Which probably should leave you asking why, if the guys at Rolling Stone could sniff out that Trump was using Kirk's death to do dictator shit, this same realization escaped so much of our (complicit) corporate media complex - who spent most of that same week decrying political violence and weeping crocodile tears for poor ole deadass Charlie. I guess they were just too afraid of Brendan Carr and the Trumpenreich FCC; which doesn't bode well for US media independence going forward under the Swine Emperor.

Of course, any ethnic cleansing operation, and suppression of people opposed to it, is going to result in casualties. The Trump regime's ethnonationalist cleansing project, even in its nascent stages, cannot be accomplished without horrifying levels of violence, and yes, even murders. To the surprise of precisely no one who has observed how the rest of the Trump administration operates to cover its tracks and work in secrecy, the ICE Gestapo doesn't release information about its violent incidents. Most Americans inherently understand that this violence is occurring somewhere, but that knowledge merely simmers in the background until blatant evidence of Gestapo violence bursts into the public sphere, primarily through the work of citizen journalism - as in the case of the cold blooded executions of Renne Good, and Alex Pretti by Gestapo murderpigs attached to the CBP wing of the Trumpenreich DHS's ethnic cleansing project.

There are however efforts underway to pierce the Trump regime's veil of secrecy surrounding Gestapo violence. For example, at the very end of January 2026, the American Prospect used news reports, government data, and data from nonprofits, watchdogs, and immigration advocacy groups to create a living document to track how many people the Gestapo has injured or killed; to my knowledge, literally nobody else has compiled this data as of yet.

A Running Count of How Many People ICE Has Killed and Injured

"The Trump regime’s deportation monomania has left far more people dead and wounded than it wants you to know. Agents’ public executions of Renee Good and Alex Pretti have rightly drawn widespread fury, heartbreak, and action. And they are just two of the many more agents have murdered or caused to die in the field since January 2025. Even more people have died in immigration prison. And as for the people federal agents have merely injured? An official count doesn’t exist. There is no doubt that the regime is working overtime to hide the full scope of the terror campaign spreading across our country.

The Prospect launched this tracker to do our part to stop them from getting away with it. We are collecting data to bring the real harm into sharper focus and to counterbalance the mainstream media’s sanitation of what we would call “pogroms” if they were happening in any other country. Consider, for example, how The New York Times represents the deadly operation in Minnesota, under the title “Minneapolis Tensions.” Now consider if that would accurately reflect your anguish if modern-day slave catchers used your toddler as bait and then threw him in prison. As the Prospect notes, this dataset is of course incomplete and almost certainly represents a vast undercount of the number of violent incidents involving Kristi Noem's DHS forces (including ICE, and CBP). The hope with any living document, is that as more information about the violence and murders the Gestapo are responsible for leaks out, the dataset will become more complete. Even still, the Prospect has collected information on 25 people murdered, and 18 people injured during direct encounters with the Gestapo (obviously, the injury number is a VAST undercount), and 44 people people killed in custody - so murdered by our concentration camps.

Look folks, if you've been reading my writing long enough, you know full well that I believe this is just the tip of the iceberg and these folks are prepared to murder millions of people to get the fascist ethnostate of their dreams. But the reality is that we're not talking about a hypothetical future time when the DHS Gestapo will start killing people to do ethnic cleansing; they're already doing it, and they've budgeted to do a lot more of it in the future. This situation is not going to improve, when the Gestapo sucks down enough GOP budget dollars to become the 8th largest army on Earth, and we've already seen this machine been repurposed to target activists, journalists, and pretty much anyone who thinks maybe it's not a very good idea to have a Gestapo or worse, a Schutzstaffel, and do ethnic cleansing. The Trumpenreich's mass deportation project has already put at least 69 people in the ground in just over a single year and this is only just the beginning. I hate to keep beating the same drum, but a genocidal fascist police state prepared to do fucking murders to suppress migrants, is a genocidal fascist police state that will happily do the same no matter who Trump and Miller point them at.

By now regular readers will know that I never drop allegations without proof, so let's look at this short (18m) video by Coffeezilla for incontrovertible evidence that the very same Justice Department that just declared the Epstein case closed for lack of evidence to charge anyone, has actively avoided even interviewing Epstein ring survivors victimized and sexually assaulted by Epstein and or his associates; despite efforts by those survivors to tell their stories and help the DoJ bring their abusers to justice. I don't like sharing a lot of videos because most people can read faster than a YouTuber talks, but I think there's definitely some value in watching film of Pam Bondi and Kash Patel throwing temper tantrums while Epstein survivors, the actual victims in these horrible crimes, bravely risk public exposure to prove Trump's Justice Department is covering up for, and refusing to prosecute rapists, pedophiles, and human traffickers. If you're in a rush, the part we're looking for starts at 4:06 in the video; but given its such a short presentation overall and Coffeezilla confirms a bunch of the shady and illegal things I've told you the Bondi and the Justice Department are doing to protect Trump in the rest of the video, it's probably worth watching the whole thing.

If you only watched the clip from 4:06 forward, you will have seen at least nine different survivors and victims called to stand up and demonstrate by a show of hands how many of them have not been able to meet with Trump's Department of Justice to provide testimony and evidence, and how many of them have tried to offer to provide testimony in evidence. In footage from Pam Bondi's House Oversight hearing this week that is utterly damning, each and every single survivor indicated that they hadn't been able to meet with anyone from the DoJ, and they had all tried to do so to provide testimony and evidence. As Coffeezilla notes, this is the very same government and Department of Justice that wants you to believe they were tracking down every single lead in the Epstein case and just couldn't come up with enough evidence to charge anyone but Epstein or Maxwell; despite the fact that we know the Epstein ring had over a thousand victims, via the Justice Department's own press releases. While neither Coffeezilla, nor Congresswoman Jayapal went so far as it say it out loud, I think most people would agree that given all the other evidence Trump's Department of Justice (both of them) and FBI (both of them) were actively helping cover up all these heinous atrocities, the Injustice Department's *refusal* to meet with Epstein victims and survivors isn't incompetence, it's an intentional part of the ongoing coverup we're all watching in real time.

Which makes a nice little segue into the rest of the video, which is about how the Trump regime's coverup of the Epstein scandal is so half-assed and brazen, the regime might as well be laughing in our faces - like Trump commerce secretary Howard Lutnick, who not only brazenly lied about never associating with Epstein but can't stop chuckling like a hyena every time Epstein's name comes up. Other topics covered include the Justice Department's multiple waves of illegal redactions, a poll showing 94% of respondents believe Epstein was running a sex trafficking ring for powerful men even if the FBI is lying to say he wasn't, evidence in the files implicating former Barclays boss and former JP Morgan banker Jes Staley in activities that prove FBI Director Kash Patel perjured himself, Pam Bondi's meltdowns during the oversight hearings, and some more of the revelations coming out of the latest "Epstein Files" release that make it clear Epstein was more than just a child rapist. Including at least some evidence of Epstein's connection to the CIA.

Amid Secretive Expansion, Leaked Docs Reveal Locations of New ICE Facilities Nationwide

"Overall, Wired reported on Tuesday, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS)—which includes Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)—has been aggressively expanding its footprint across the country, with “more than 150 leases and office expansions” that “have or would place new facilities in nearly every state, many of them in or just outside of the country’s largest metropolitan areas.”

Quite frankly, I could have put this store in our "DHS is doing ethnic cleansing" thread, because as the article goes on to note, these new ICE facilities are being embedded directly in major metropolitan areas, and next to locations the Gestapo is already targeting - like schools, mosques, and hospitals or childcare facilities. As the author of the original Wired report noted:

“The leasing plans give a clear picture of where ICE is going next in the US: Everywhere,” the report concluded."

I chose to put it here in the concentration camp thread however, because I think when taken together with ICE's plans to build a nation-wide gulag system for migrants and dissenters they call "terrorists," a very clear picture of how exactly the Trumpenreich fascist dictatorship will be created is emerging. A while back I wrote an article on NIDC predicting that the massive DHS and ICE funding in Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill would facilitate the transformation of those agencies from Trump's Gestapo, into his Schutzstaffel, or SS because the militarization of these forces would allow the Swine Emperor to effectively occupy the United States militarily under a semi-permanent state of martial law.

Well, this one hits closer to home than I'd like. The University of Michigan has become the latest extremely wealthy ($19.2B endowment as of June 30, 2024) US higher education institute to capitulate to Trump, and in doing so further the regime's efforts to enforce a white supremacist worldview on education in America.

University of Michigan shutters its flagship diversity program

“The federal government is determined to dismantle and control higher education and to make our institutions more uniform, more inequitable, and more exclusive,” Rebekah Modrak, the chair of the faculty senate, wrote in an email to colleagues about the decision, according to the Detroit Free Press. “They are using the power of the government to engineer a sweeping culture change towards white supremacy. Unfortunately, University of Michigan leaders seem determined to comply and to collaborate in our own destruction.”

As someone intimately familiar with how UM operates, the administrator's decision to surrender completely in the face of Trump's threats to cut all federal funding is hardly surprising; although it is extremely disappointing. Michigan is in many ways the perfect model of the neoliberal (capitalist) university; it receives over a billion dollars a year in federal research funding, and the school had already cut back on its diversity initiatives in admissions and hiring in response to a 6-3 fascist high SCOTUS striking down Affirmative Action. As in the case with Columbia, I am fairly certain the school's wealthy alumni base, access to some of the finest lawyers in America, and massive endowment would have allowed it to fight Trump's extortion in court; and that decision would be largely supported by students, faculty, and even the (Democrat controlled) state government. Despite this, a conflict-adverse administration that has transformed UM into a money printing machine over the past couple of decades in particular, was never going to risk perhaps billions of dollars in funding; even if it means capitulating to fascism. While some may be inclined to forgive Michigan's leadership for their cowardice given those stakes, I will once again remind folks that if you don't stand for opposing extortion, fascism, and white supremacy, why should anyone believe you stand for anything at all?

Worse still, is that Michigan's rational for groveling before Trump's white nationalist agenda tries to have it both ways, while (not so) subtly reinforcing white supremacist propaganda and world views. The university touts the groundbreaking success of its expansive DEI programs; while simultaneously pretending they're unconcerned with ending these programs because racism is over or something, I guess. The administration also points to the myriad of fascist executive orders and threats issued by the Trump regime, but then offers up the excuse that "some in our campus community have voiced frustration that they did not feel included in DEI initiatives and that the programming fell short in fostering connections among diverse groups" - as if Trump's orders and Michigan's actions have anything at all to do with "fostering connections among diverse groups" or helping people the DEI initiative wasn't helping enough. Finally the UM administration promises to continue to foster "multiculturalism" and states it remains "steadfast in our dedication to academic freedom, freedom of speech and freedom of expression" - as if Trump can't threaten Michigan's funding again to cancel programs that foster "multiculturalism" (another word fascists use instead of slurs), or terms like "academic freedom" mean anything in light of the Faustian (non) bargain the University has struck here.

The sad truth here is that out of nothing more than greed and cowardice, the University of Michigan has given Downmarket Mussolini and his white nationalist agenda a victory that will ring across the nation. The UM DEI program was expanded in part to counteract the rise of white nationalist politics during the first Trump presidency, it was a highly successful endeavor that was considered a model for other schools to copy nationally, and Michigan's commitment to diversity programs was genuine. If a northern liberal school with more money than god and every reason to fight back, won't take on the Trump regime's fascist agenda, who else is going to have the courage to do so?
