Barry Phillips SmithHere's one of the photos I took that day - you can clearly see the general run-down condition of this once-famous pottery. It's deteriorated a lot since and one section of the roofs has collapsed. The site owner said I could help myself to any of the original moulds if I wanted any, but I was in-transit at the time, and trying to cut down on stuff to move!
Prompted by seeing "Mason Cash" on a dough cutter on my timeline, did you know that the Blue and White #Cornishware was made at TG Green's #PoolePottery (later owned by #MasonCash) in South Derbyshire?
In 2016 the owner allowed me to enter and photograph the derelict site and this is one of the sketches I did from the photos.
GeorgeTook pictures of this wonderful Poole Pottery bowl from 1970 and it reminds me of a startled cartoon chicken 😂 so lovely and yet so bizarre that's what I'm getting from it.
