So just got finished talking (briefly) to a rare gay French guy who calls himself poly. And it was kind of weird. I'll spare the details but I think what was "weird" about that interaction is that I expect (maybe naively) poly people to be more emotionally intelligent. That was not the case.
Long story short: I'm fucked. I should just become a monk and call it a life.

I met my husband by getting with his wife first in 2010. 😏😄 We were in a poly quad for a few years, which split up end of 2013. My husband and I got married in 2021. He's dx autistic & is a web developer/IT consultant. We both work from home 💕

We have three sons, two older and have moved out & youngest is a teen still at home. Eldest is neurotypical, middle auty/ADHD & youngest level 3 autistic.

You know what would probably blow the mind of your average monogamist? Asexual polyamory people. The next time someone finds out I'm poly and jumps right to talking about sex and threesomes, I'm going to bring up that counterexample and let them sit with what that says about their ideas of love and relationships.
