sgt1372Just watched the movie #Presence at my local #AMC.
Weird movie. Glad I read the plot summary on #Wiki & a few reviews before I saw it Wouldn't have understood what was going on unless I did.
Hard to discuss it w/o giving everything away. Basically, there's a ghostly presence in a house occupied by a dysfunctional family -- mother father, sister & brother. The movie is shot from the ghost's perspective. The daughter can sense the ghost but can't interact w/it.
No one else can sense the ghost until it creates a major disruption.
A psychic, who is called in for assistance, says the ghost doesn't know why it's there but thinks it's there to do something about something that hasn't happened yet. Then that something happens & the ghost saves the day.
I'd give the movie a 5 out of 10 for entertainment value & a 7 out of 10 for uniqueness from a movie-making perspective.
