Ocean Greyness, by Jackson Pollock.

Sé que #Rembrandt no sintió #OrgulloAbstracto cuando pintó #ElBueyDesollado; lo suyo era #OrgulloBarroco. Pero le veo derramar la pintura sobre las carnes y pienso en #Pollock, y en #Rothko, cuando entiende que el color otorga al arte la capacidad de #EmocionArte.

@HamonWry I think this is Blue Poles? one of my favourite paintings, in the National Gallery of Australia. It caused a massive political fuss when it was bought in the 1970s. Government waste, irresponsible, my preschool kid could do better, that kind of thing. #art #pollock #australia
