Had a great day today (technically it was yesterday, but I call it today until I go to sleep, and I can't go to sleep until the painkiller kicks in and my elbow stops complaining about the stupid person it's attached to). We had rain (at last), we had hail. I had an appointment with a surgeon in the nearest clinic, about 30 km away, but another clinic, 40 km away, in a different direction, called shortly before I was to leave that their Internet was down. Since Friday. Why the fuck did they not call earlier? Facing the choice between my elbow getting looked at by a surgeon and the thought that, without Internet, many patients, some of whom would have travelled tens of kilometres, would not get the treatment they need and would have to drive some other day, I made a choice. Setting up an emergency connection took a quarter of an hour, half of the time because one computer couldn't log on to to a remote server (I later learned that it usually does that, but of course I assumed it was a problem with the connection). I then drove to the other clinic. I was about an hour late. People with appointments before mine were still waiting. The only thing I didn't manage to do was to get an X-ray, but the doctor and I agreed that had any bone been broken or cracked I would be screaming in pain and wouldn't have been able to drive to either of the clinics. Unless I was a woman. Women usually handle pain much better than men. That's why they're so often exploited.
EDIT to add: I didn't have to fix that Internet, it was not my responsibility. But I could.
Had Masza trampled this patch of coltsfoot we wouldn't have noticed it's already spring. Polesia is about two weeks behind the rest of Poland seasonwise.
We're pretty close to our house, so they probably won't dry completely before jumping into our bed, which happens to be one of their many beds.

Someone set a watchdog on meadow2025_1.tar. Timeouts occurred due to insufficient supply of cookies, rebooting went without a glitch, but waterproof boots were required.
