Bruno's bog.
There are two kinds of people: those who would drive further on this road and those who would turn back. Some people I know wouldn't visit us in their expensive 4WD SUVs – they'd be afraid of getting their cars dirty. Also, tree branches could scratch their paint. And this is good – I wouldn't want to meet them. Years ago my friends had a small business – they carefully painted rich people's off-road cars with mud so they could pretend they did go off-road.
The last patches of dirty snow. Soon they'll be gone – until the next week, when the breakdown of the polar vortex might let winter return for a brief moment. That patch of snow on the right is a bit weird, though. Furry snow is rare, even in Polesia.
The street lamps installed recently in nearby villages throw light everywhere, not just on the road. And they're visible from kilometres away. Probably the cheapest seller was chosen to install them and they got rid of their worst junk.
They're crazy. The ice could break and they could drown. They could get their feet wet and catch a cold. But they don't care. #MarshMadness begins.
