A funny little trekking story from the Annapurna Base Camp trail — Pokhara, Ghandruk, ABC suspicious footsteps in the dark and one very dramatic “yeti fight.”

Except the yeti might have been Bhutle, a huge white Bhote Kukur who was just trying to play.

Comedy, mountains, madal, and a bit of Visit Nepal energy.

Everybody who knows something about #electricity I have a #question for you:

The flat I am living in is build out of something they call in #Nepal SY or Korean panels (two layers corrugated iron with foam in between).
In #Pokhara we have a great amount of lightnings.
So what happens if a lightning would strike my flat? Would it become a Faraday cage or (because of the insulation between the iron plates) a huge (flux) capacitor?
In the second case I could attempt to travel back to the future.

We had Tibetan food for our last night in #Pokhara and it was amazing…..sha bhack ley, where have you been all my life? The buffalo curry with Tibetan bread was also fabulous 🤤 #Nepal #AdventuresOfCass
The drive from #Kathmandu to #Pokhara is very scenic. You will see gorgeous mountainous scenery, beautifully dresses #Nepal i women, livestock on the road, and feel the bumpy road. How diod you like the drive? https://backpackandsnorkel.com/Nepal/Day7/
