I've been playing Pokémon Tetris for the Pokémon Mini so much recently, it's an underrated gem! It's Tetris that we all know and love, except every time you successfully clear four lines at once, you can capture the Pokémon that appears on screen.

Initially these Pokémon will be silhouettes, but as you capture them, they will be revealed. If you want to catch all 249 Pokémon available in the game, you'll have to play the different modes on various difficulties.

This game was only sold in Japan and Europe, but this one came from Portugal! Sadly, there's a huge dirty sticker on the back of it I can't remove without damaging the cardboard box, and I'm not brave enough to try it.

Pokémon Tetris isn't a very well documented game online, and I hope that changes. It's definitely a worthy title!

It's a Pokémon Mini, with a copy of Pokémon Party Mini, bundled with every console.

I picked this up in 2002, along with Pokémon Zany Cards and Puzzle Collection. Years later I acquired Pinball and Tetris, which was every English release for the console.

A handful of games were exclusively released in Japan, and the Pokémon Mini is still Nintendo's smallest console to date. I had so much fun with this in my childhood!
