I’ve mentioned before that I really like the art style of this game. It looks great 🤩

There have been a few annoyances. The most annoying being when a party pokemon evolves, it resets the catch combo chain 😤

I’ve also noticed that when an NPC uses a potion or full restore during battle, the popup text states “You used a potion”. I doubt all the NPCs are named You; reminds me of that joke from Rush Hour 3 😂

Recently started playing Let’s Go Eevee (and Legends Arceus).

The game’s art style and graphics are great. The interaction with your partner Pokemon is a nice touch. Pokemon taken out of their PokeBalls also occasionally have interactions with the environment.

Not really a fan of the lack of battles with wild Pokemon. I much more prefer the way Legends Arceus handles it.

Both Boulder and Cascade badges cleared thus far. Next up, Vermilion City.

Winding down Pokemon Brilliant Diamond after having done just about everything of interest.

Gearing up for a 2nd rematch with the Elite 4 and champion. Caught nearly every pokemon (incl. Pearl exclusives), with the exception of Spinda, Nosepass and Probopass. I’ve been unlucky with the swarm lottery 😑

Yesterday, started Let’s Go Eevee, with my partner on Let’s Go Pikachu.

Not too enthusiastic about the lack of battles for wild Pokemon though.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! update.

I started playing this game in 2018. Decided to pick it up again when my girlfriend wanted to go out for Pokémon GO.

I finally made it to Cinnabar Island. How? By water from Pallet Town. Why was I in Pallet Town? Well, I got all my Pokémon fainted by failing a coach trainer battle, hard, and needing to flee to the nearest Poké Center. I’ve not wanted to catch Pokémon, and in this version, I can avoid them on the map. I guess I need to grind if I ever want to beat this game. Battling on the GameBoy at least let me practice type matching.

Ahh!! After breaking my combo 2 twice, I finally found my shiny Pikachu for my shiny professor oak challenge. Combo I was at 66, but it was 210 caught before the shiny showed up.

Now I can finally beat Brock with my level 66 Venusaur lmao
