The epithalamion is a challenging, even problematic, form today. Originally a poem to “celebrate” the bride on her way to the bridal chamber, the ancient forms were quasi-religious, ironic in this thin veiling of voyeurism and libertinism.

Corta los cables, quema las piezas,
roba los guantes, pilla más piedras,
destroza todo, rompe el engranaje,
si hay horas extras, se hace sabotaje,

caga en el curro, que te lo paguen,
pinta en un muro, lo que reclames,
las decisiones, en la asamblea,
hacer presiones, mediante huelga

busca el consenso, en la plantilla,
ante injusticias, hay que hacer piña,
si el mundo para, pierden dinero,
sin los peones, se acaba el juego

y es que la fuerza, está en la base,
en la que sujeta, este desastre,
y que se enteren, los que hay arriba,
desde lo alto, hay más caida
