ರಾಗ ದ್ವೇಷಗಳು
ಹೇಗಾದವೊ?

ಚಿಟ್ಟೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಟ್ಟು
ಹೆಡ್ಡಿಗೆ ಲೈಟು ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕು,
ಲಾರ್ವದ ಕೌತುಕ ಕಥನವಾಗುವಾಗ
ಬಿಳಿಯ ಹಾಳೆಯ ಜೊತೆಗೆ
ಇಂಕಿರದ ಪೆನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು
ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಪೋಸು ಕೊಟ್ಟರೂ
ಕವಿತೆ ಅರಳತ್ತದೆ!

As moonlight fondles your face,
I envy all the rays lit bright
The radiance that gets to feel your grace,
How illuminated the moon must feel at this sight!

As light reveals more of you, time slows and i dream,
Of all my desires being met when I pace
Into your eyes as they draw me in,
Only to be pierced by their stirring gaze!

But as i near your moonlit self, it dawns upon me,
You too have a dream, but not me in it.

ಅವಳ ಮೈಯ ಕಾವು
ನನ್ನೆದೆಯ ರೋಮವ ಸೋಕಿ,
ರಮಿಸಿ ಕರೆದ ರಾತ್ರಿಗಳು
ಛಾವಣಿ ದಾಟಿ
ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿಯದೆ
ದಾಹ ಉಳಿದೇ ಹೋಗಿದೆ,
ಇದು ಪ್ರೇಮದ ಕವಿತೆಯೊ?
ಕಾಮದ ಕವಿತೆಯೋ?
ತಿಳುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?
ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿಗೆ
ವಿರಹ ಹೊಗೆಯಾಡಿದೆ!

ಈ ವೈನು ಬಾಟಲಿನ
ತುದಿಗೆ ಕುಂಚ ಕೊಟ್ಟವರಾರು?
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗೂ
ಬಣ್ಣ ಬಳಿಯುತ್ತಿದೆ;
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೋದಿಲೇರ್
ಏನಾದರೂ ಸರಿ
ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿರು ಅಂದನಾ?
ಈ ಬಟ್ಟಲಿಗೂ
ನಯವಾದ ಸೊಂಟವೊಂದಿದೆ -
ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಜಾರುತ್ತಿದೆ!
