and they saw
and they prayed
and they thought themselves
today is that day
the day
the waymobs burned the waymos
the day
the skater danced
mocking the cops
while they fired dozens of “non-lethal” rounds
at his feet
and he didn’t even sweat
he flipped them the bird
and skated off
unbothered
alive
free
this isn’t a poem for likes.
it’s for the skater who didn’t flinch.
it’s for the fourth grader ICE took.
it’s for everyone who’s sick of pretending this is fine.
