My favourite constellation Pleiades has now disappeared into the sunset haze which for me is a marker of the end of summer.

An open star cluster situated about 440 lights years away. The local cluster actually contains up to 1000 fairly young stars. They glow bright blue and shine through nebulae - one of the jewels of the Winter sky.
