There is only one viable answer to the plastic problem.
Make plastic recycling profitable.
Put a price on 'new' plastics with a CO2 tax [or whatever] so that recycled plastic become more profitable. Make #PlasticRecycling work, in a good way.
Demand recycled bottles.
Outlaw the production of single use plastics.
