It's really nice that we'll get an open-source 10-foot ui desktop with Plasma Bigscreen.

And it also a good step for PC Handheld or TV gaming not being always reliant on Steam's Big Picture unless you only do emulation.

Something similar from Gnome would be cool too.

I'm looking forward to the new release of plasma bigscreen. I already use an old dell as thrown together tv box and it will be a lot better an experience than gnome on 200% size and a bunch if extensions 🙌

I cannot wait for the updated #PlasmaBigScreen to go public. I am so sick of these "Smart TVs" and spy tools. I've used a mini-PC off and on with Linux on my TV of course with an air-mouse remote, but when guests come to visit it becomes too complicated for them...

I just hope we can save html shortcuts to the carousal wheel for those platforms my normie-guests expect to see (like disney+ & netflix).
