Strypey@cathal @LeoSammallahti 1) please provide a citation of a non-GE seed getting a patent. If you mean PVRs (#PlantVarietyRight), I agree these are an issue, but this is a very different thing from a patent.
2) organic growers grow open pollinate varieties, and where available, heritage varieties. Please provide a citation that proves otherwise. They also grow a much larger range of varieties overall than industrial monocultures, being aware of the benefits of bio-diversity (yay science!)
