@Yora running into this issue now in my #planegea campaign. I set the campaign up as the party protecting their clan on the journey south. I wanted it to feel like the epic journey it must be for the clans, but now 10 sessions in, it's a lot of: choose the next stop/landmark, move to the next stop/landmark, do an adventure there, move on.
Has it's pros and cons but it feels a little formulaic by now. Any thoughts on how to make a journey like this feel more dynamic?

@lumpley I found something that matches all categories! Atlas Games just released Planegea, "the prehistoric fantasy setting for 5e". I know nothing about it, but the preview looks fantastic. It's in print, off the beaten path, and age-appropriate. https://www.atlas-games.com/product_tables/AG3720

My lower-cost recommendation remains Mike Shea's "Return of the Lazy Dungeon Master".
