Mistigram: this time last year, as we dropped our MIST-30 30th anniversary collection, our colleagues in @pizzatoe were celebrating along with us, sketching this seasonal #ANSIart logo. 2025 was supposed to be their year, but wherever they went, we never forgot their kindness!

Mistigram: a synthesis of #ANSIart and #ASCIIart, all you need to know about this #skull is that it’s all scream. Is that curly hair or are its soupy brains being expelled from its cranium under high pressure in an evaporated form? It was drawn as a creepy guest appearance by our main liaison with the new Pizzatoe computer art community, Jackey, and was included in the spooky MIST1024 artpack collection released one year ago.

Mistigram: and if that previous mosaic wasn’t enough #ANSIart for you, here’s a weird coincidence — in the final week of preparing the spooky new MIST1024 collection, we start seeing posts of creepy #textmode art shared to X at high volume by someone with the utterly bizarre name “Pizzatoe”, and invite them to make a guest appearance. Turns out it’s a whole new ANSI crew from an unexpected place taking their first steps in sharing their work outside their circle! Three of them, Amy, Jackey and Momo, shared a wealth of thematically-appropriate and formally-relevant pieces in this new artpack. Here are a few of them!
