I just bought a #refurbished #Google #Pixelwatch2 to try to build my own "Pixel Watch" companion app. Can i make the Pixel Watch 2 work with faked API's? How much can i improve the privacy ? So many ideas. That will be a fun project!

On my #PixelWatch2 , I used to be able to use the voice assistant to set a timer. "Set a timer for 12 minutes". Easy.

Now, with the replacement of Voice Assistant by Gemini, asking it to set a timer results in it telling me that the timer has been set, then telling me I should enable some other setting that isn't apparent, and doesn't even hint that anything was wrong.

It didn't set a timer.

I hate this.
