It's nice to have a meal option that's more of a family restaurant that isn't a buffet and isn't a character meal. It's a non-Disney-owned restaurant who handles the food service for the entire hotel. Even though we had a reservation, we ended up sitting at the bar, which we enjoyed. Bar seating is on a first come, first served basis, and there are even four loveseats, two on each side of the bar. I've never seen those before.

I opted for the turkey bolognese, which I really liked. It was a very generous portion, with plenty of meat. I would have liked more sauce but I generally find that to be true for me for most pasta dishes.

Everything was delicious except that I thought that there was too much truffle oil, to the point where it overpowered everything. I generally find that with truffle oil, sparingly is the best usage.
The husband had the ribeye melt, which he enjoyed. It normally comes with fries but you can get a small salad instead, or a small modern Caesar for an additional price, which is what the husband did. He really liked the salad. #GreatMapleAnaheim #PixarPlaceHotel #Disneyland /2
Our first visit to #GreatMaple #GreatMapleAnaheim was dinner on Easter Sunday. They had a few specials, and I had to try the truffled egg tarts. We did not expect the dish to be that large. The husband and I each had one, and then we ended up sharing the third to a new friend we made that night. Overall, I enjoyed the dish, and the tart was nice and flaky. #PixarPlaceHotel #Disneyland /1
