The shooting for Gibson’s ‘The Resurrection of the Christ’ has been cancelled in Matera.
It was scheduled for April 20th in the Murgia Materana, shooting takes place in Craco and Pisticci.
While on a recent trip, I had an overnight stop in New York City, which gave me the chance to have dinner at my favorite restaurant in the world: Pisticci, on the upper west side. For dinner I had a fantastic stew of mixed seafood in a rich tomato broth, then chocolate hazelnut mousse with house-made limoncello for dessert.
Pisticci was (almost) the only good thing about my time living in New York. What a pleasure it was to go there again after all these years!
