Swedish illustrator Gustaf Tenggren's concept art for Disney's first motion pictures.

We tend to attribute today's Disney art style as safe and familly friendly. But back in the day, it's concept art was much darker and heavily infuenced by Art Nouveau, Expressionism and european folklore illustrations. I would really love to see a new project with an art style like this.
