Good update none-the-less.
I tested my Pinephone with PMOS on the mobile network today. However, it could not completely function due to the VoLTE service denial. It did connect to my carrier, however.
I have to workout how to enable 4g VoLTE on the Pinephone so it can function as a proper phone. Is it the modem firmware? Or another terminal line to edit?
1-2 years ago, this phone would have been a functional daily driver as the ACMA hadn't ruled against no-VoLTE calls/sms yet.
I didn't feel like I had much luck with Flare on PMOS. But ever since I tried to build an install of Signal-Desktop, it seems to have improved the usability of it. I can now send messages, etc., on it. I looked at Flare after running into build errors.
It might have be dependencies or package issues, but Flare is working well.
My Telegram app doesn't have a keyboard, but I can use images to message friends 😆
