🪲 Dor beetle 🇸🇪
📝 This Dor beetle is carefully trying to carry off a piece of fungus. I watched him do this for about 15 minutes. During that time, he moved the fungus by around 5 cm.
ℹ️ The forest dung beetle (Anoplotrupes stercorosus) grows to a length of up to 19 mm and can be found throughout Europe. It is most commonly found in beech forests.

📝 Dieser Waldmistkäfer versucht akribisch einen Pilz mitzunehmen. Ich konnte ihn dabei ca. 15 Minuten beobachten. Er hat den Pilz in der Zeit ca. 5cm fortbewegt.
ℹ️ Der Waldmistkäfer (Anoplotrupes stercorosus) wird bis zu 19mm lang und kommt in ganz Europa vor. Am häufigsten findet man ihn in Buchenwälder.
