Il Fatto Quotidiano: Torino, si finge carabiniere e ruba gioielli e bancomat agli anziani: arrestato – Video

Si fingeva carabiniere, si presentava a casa di cittadini anziani e, dopo averli convinti a collaborare a indagini, portava via denaro contante, monili in oro e carte bancomat, poi utilizzate per prelievi. A carico dell’uomo, un cittadino italiano, la polizia di Torino ha eseguito un’ordinanza di custodia cautelare in carcere, emessa dal gip del tribunale torinese.
Le indagini, condotte dalla Squadra Mobile torinese, hanno permesso di ricostruire un sistematico modus operandi messo in atto a partire dal 24 febbraio scorso ai danni di cittadini ultrasessantacinquenni residenti nel capoluogo piemontese. Secondo quanto emerso, l’indagato agiva in concorso con un complice, un telefonista, al momento ignoto: mentre il complice agganciava telefonicamente le vittime, l’uomo si presentava nelle loro abitazioni e convincendo gli anziani nel falso convincimento di dover collaborare a indagini per una rapina in cui potevano essere coinvolti, riusciva a entrare nelle loro abitazione. Il provvedimento è stato notificato all’uomo in carcere ,dove si trova dallo scorso 27 marzo quando era stato arrestato in flagranza di reato per un episodio analogo, commesso sempre a Torino con le medesime modalità ai danni di altri due anziani.

He was pretending to be a carabiner (military police officer), he would visit the homes of elderly citizens and, after convincing them to cooperate in investigations, he would take away cash, gold jewelry, and debit cards, which were then used for withdrawals. The police in Turin executed a precautionary custody order in prison against the Italian citizen, issued by the judge of the Turin court.

The investigations, conducted by the Turin Mobile Squad, allowed investigators to reconstruct a systematic modus operandi carried out since February 24th against elderly citizens residing in the Piedmontese capital. According to what emerged, the suspect acted in concert with an accomplice, a taxi driver, currently unknown: while the accomplice contacted the victims by phone, the man would show up at their homes and, convincing the elderly in a false belief that they were cooperating in an investigation of a robbery in which they could be involved, was able to enter their homes. The order was served to the man in prison, where he has been since March 27th when he was arrested in the act for a similar crime, committed always in Turin with the same methods against two other elderly people.
