Atlantic, Atlantic, what a pleasure,
I feel you in my chest as leisure
And have saltwater-needy-pressure.
Your ocean air is fresh and fresher.
You're an amazing pebble basher.

When your waves crash on the shore,
Seagulls poop and laugh and soar,
When my heart demands for more,
I breathe and sniff for algea odour.
My towel and me on your bay's sandy floor,
My soul feels the deepest deep-sea-lure,
And goes for a plunge.

Atlantic, Atlantic! Sand between my toes,
While you are doing your ebbs and flows.
Sun, froth, spray and gusty blows,
Water and sand and undertoes.
My heart was taken by the swallows.

Deine Weite weitet meine Brust.
Du machst mir fette Salzseesucht.
Ich liebe Deine Meeresluft.
Du bist die absolute Wucht.

Wenn Deine Wellen krachen,
Möwen kacken, Möwen lachen,
Wenn mein Herz laut nach dir ruft,
Schnüffle ich nach Algenduft.
Auf'm Handtuch in kleinen Buchten,
Denk ich an Deine Tiefseeschluchten
Und tauche ab.

Atlantik, Atlantik! Sand unter'm Fuß,
Bisschen Ebbe, bisschen Flut.
Schaumkronen, Sonne, Gischt und Sturm,
Klippen sind hinten, Wasser da vorn.
Hab an dich mein Herz verlor'n.
