More Chinese cabbage #macro #photography  Maybe I crave spring rolls or maybe it's just the closest test subject at hand,... or, maybe both!?

Shot #handheld using #Canon body with #IBIS and a newly acquired Exakta 24mm f/2.8 MC Macro #vintage #lens in mint condition (Cosina made https://www.pentaxforums.com/userreviews/cosina-24mm-f-2-8-mc-macro.html). This was shot wide open in #daylight at its #CFD of 19 cm (from the image plane, which, at 9 cm length of the lens + the lens adapter, means I was leaning against its leaves with the lens hood). I can't see even a hint of #fringing or other chromatic aberrations and it seems very sharp. Definitely worth those 60€ I paid for it (just the new UV filter and hood cost nearly as much)!

Anyway, looks like I got me a new #Photomushrooming [sic] lens as it's ultralight and, on a full frame camera, can dabble as wide-angle #landscape lens, too. πŸ‘πŸ½

Just a quick hint if you do get it (or any of its many clones, e.g. already mentioned Cosina that produced the glass for it also made these same lenses, as did Miranda, and many others), that it needs a very wide-angle hood or it will cause #vignetting. I solved that by screwing in a 52-55mm step-up ring first, then attaching the filter and the hood onto that. And it's still fairly tight so I'd suggest you rather go with a 52-58mm step-up ring, instead. πŸ˜‰
